Meet Me at the Labyrinth

Wednesday, June 17th| 4:30pm-6:30pm

*Please fill out the form at the bottom of the page to let me know you are coming

What to Expect:

  • We will gather as a group to open up our walk. There will be a brief introduction to breath prayer that may be helpful as you walk the labyrinth.

  • Walking the labyrinth is a sacred space. We want to honor the silence for ourselves and those we are walking with, so we can hear the stirring of God within. There is something special about walking together and realizing that while our journeys are unique, we are not alone on the path.

  • There is no right or wrong way to walk the labyrinth. This is your time to walk in communion with however you and God see fit.

  • From the opening of our walk until we close together, the time is yours. You are invited to spend as much time in the labyrinth as you feel drawn to, as well as time afterward to reflect on your experience. This could be through writing, sitting in quiet, observing the nature that surrounds us, or whatever your heart feels led.

  • While we will gather as a group at the beginning and end of our time, you are welcome to walk the labyrinth in the timing that works for you. I will be there the full two hours, so if you need to arrive late or leave early, you have the freedom to do so.

Location:

Marylhurst Heights Park

1800 Valley View Dr

West Linn, OR 97068

Meet your guide:

Emily Konoske

Emily is a spiritual director, retreat leader, and writer. She has and continues to journey with God through the unfolding of layers within herself. Her desire is for each person to be seen and loved in this intimate way. She is grounded in Christian tradition and received her spiritual direction training through the Franciscan Spiritual Center in Lake Oswego, OR. Her own faith walk has shown her the beautiful and unique ways God connects and communicates with us. She finds joy in journeying with others through deep listening, creative exploration, and contemplative prayer as they seek to know the One who loves them dearly.

Home is with her husband and teenage son in Lake Oswego, OR. She loves spending time with her family, hiking, playing board games, and travel adventures. She finds it soul-filling to be near the water, especially a particular rock by the river when the yearning for quiet calls.

“For me, the labyrinth is a form of contemplative prayer. It is a sacred space of movement that provides an inner stillness to hear what the Holy Spirit is stirring within me. As I walk the outward path, it is a journey inward, where my soul communes with the God who loves me so very intimately.”

This is a free event. However, since there will be some materials provided, please help me out by filling in the form to let me know you plan on coming.

*It is perfectly ok to come even if you don’t fill out the form, so please don’t let that stop you.
