of the Week

Almighty Creator,

Today, I seek Your continued creation in this tired and dry wasteland within. It’s hard to look around the world and not feel hopeless and helpless, but You keep faithfully drawing my gaze back to You. You show me that where the Spirit is active, hope is revived. It’s in poverty of spirit where I cry out, “help” and You reply, “I am still here.” Lord Jesus, I desire to live out only one story, the one written by You, so open my heart to hear Your words. Remind me that every soul that crosses my path holds a story that is precious to You. Make me curious to know that preciousness within myself and within others. When You thought to create this world, You only created beautiful things…I long to create that kind of beauty with You, beauty that gives rise to ripples of Your abundant love. You are not the cause of desolation, but You are present with me in it. Speak Lord, I pray, for your servant is listening. Amen. ♥️
