of the Week

Protector of My Heart,

The words “shelter me” keep streaming through my mind. Shelter me, Holy Spirit, I pray. Not in naivety of what is transpiring around me, but shelter me with Your grace, Your hope, Your whispers of deep love for me. Shelter me with You, so that when I come face to face with what the enemy wants to throw at me, I am able to confront it with a soul at rest in You, courageous in You, overflowing with love from You; confident that I will never be defeated with You as my protector. God, You see mounds of treasure before I’m able to even glance a sparkle. Shelter me, with a secure trust, as You lead the way through what feels like the dark of night. Today, I am on my knees. Shelter me, I pray, from the clutter that distracts from being in awe of You. Amen.  ♥️
